Soldiers assigned to the Iowa National Guard’s 71st Civil Support Team (CST) provided support during the Hinterland Music Festival in St. Charles, Iowa, July 30, 2026. The 71st CST specializes in identifying hazardous materials and providing technical expertise to assist local, state, and federal emergency response partners. By working alongside first responders at large public events and during emergencies, the team helps provide critical information and capabilities that enhance public safety.
